Here's a few over our balcony. We stayed in a 13th century tower in a wacky little hotel. This was fab except the bathroom was on the ground floor and I fell down a lot of steps whilst drunk as a lord on our last night.
Ronda is built over a gorge, which is spanned by a number of bridges. This is the 'new' bridge.
Deep isn't it?
Quite an awe-inspiring construction.
The view out across the plain is pretty amazing too.
This is the pic that I'm REALLY pleased with. I loved the shadow of the steps against the wall.
This is the old bridge - leading to the part of town where we stayed. Look at that camber! The one way system meant that A. had to drive up here a number of times.
Lovely decorated doorway - made me think of Zorro for some reason.
These knees are wonderful!
A shot of me in my natural habitat - the fig. If you ever want to suborn me, use figs. I can't resist them.
This is the lowest, so called Roman bridge.
Just below the bridge are the remains of the Moorish bath house complex, about 1,000 years old.
